We inform you that the general terms and conditions of sale set forth below, in compliance with current consumer protection regulations, specify the terms and conditions for purchasing the products you are interested in online from the website www.casolarovintage.com in a safe, easy, and convenient manner. We therefore invite you to read and accept them in order to proceed with your purchase.

These general conditions of sale govern the sale of products marketed by GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS, via the website www.casolarovintage.com to consumer users.

These general conditions are effective from the date of acceptance by the customer on the website, which constitutes acceptance pursuant to Article 1341 of the Italian Civil Code. The company reserves the right to modify these general conditions of sale at any time by posting them on the website. The company excludes any contractual or non-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or property resulting from the failure to accept, even partially, an order.

PURCHASE METHODS

Products are purchased by accessing and registering on the website. A description of each product is available on the website, containing its main characteristics. All information supporting the purchase is intended as general information. It is understood that the image accompanying the product description may not be perfectly representative of its characteristics, but may differ in color, size, and accessory products shown. Correct receipt of the order is confirmed by GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS via an automatic email response, sent to the email address provided by the customer at the time of registration. The message will contain all the information entered by the customer, who undertakes to verify its accuracy and promptly communicate any corrections. In the event of non-acceptance of the order, GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS guarantees prompt notification to the customer.
Please carefully read the description and condition of the item you are bidding on or purchasing. We provide numerous images, so please take a look at all of them. Any significant or visible wear is clearly described in the condition details. We tend to take photos of any visible wear. You are always welcome to ask ANY INFORMATION you feel is necessary before your purchase, and we will be happy to assist. We have a simple and clear REFUND POLICY, but it's best to avoid any misunderstandings up front.

Obviously, the older an item, the more likely it is to show signs of age. Signs of wear should be expected. While condition is a primary purchasing consideration for vintage items, it's not as crucial for older items. Don't buy something you consider inferior just because it has a well-known brand. Ask us to specify any damage or irregularities to a garment that can't be specified in the item description, or simply something you want to highlight or fully understand. And don't rely solely on condition if you're unsure of an item's quality.

Customizations requested by the customer regarding prescription lenses and colored filters, such as strength, tint, thickness, various treatments, and lens shape, as well as any other modifications specifically requested for any part of the ordered item, must be confirmed in writing, including by email. If the customer has a medical prescription, this must be sent to the company before the order is processed. The company will not be responsible for any errors in the customization information provided by the customer.

PAYMENT METHODS

All prices on the site are intended to be retail prices and, therefore, include VAT for EU countries.

We are not responsible for any customs duties or import costs charged by your local customs.

CUSTOMS DUTIES AND OTHER TAXES

Import duties, taxes and charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping charges.

  • These costs are the responsibility of the buyer;
  • Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
  • These charges are typically collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company, or when you pick the item up.
  • Please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

Prices may vary without notice and the only correct price is the one indicated at the time of order confirmation.

If you pay via PayPal, upon completion of the online transaction, this service will only charge you the amount of your purchase. If you pay by bank transfer, upon completion of the purchase, you will receive a summary email of your purchase at the email address provided during registration. This email will also contain all the details for completing the bank transfer. If you cancel your order, either by the customer or if GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS rejects the order, the order will be cancelled and the blocked amount will be released (release times depend exclusively on the banking system). Once the transaction has been cancelled, GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from the release of the blocked amount by the banking system.

OPHTHALMIC LENS WARRANTY

Lenses sold by GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS are covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty and the 24-month warranty for defects, pursuant to Legislative Decree 24/02, which protects purchases made by end customers for non-professional purposes only, with a receipt and/or invoice. To benefit from the warranty, the customer must retain the invoice or sales document sent with the product. The 24-month warranty applies to products with a defect, provided that the product has been used correctly, in accordance with its intended use and as provided in the accompanying technical documentation. This warranty is reserved for consumers. In the event of a defect, GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS will restore the product's conformity, free of charge to the customer, through repair/replacement or, where applicable, termination of the contract.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Pursuant to and within the limits of Article 64 of Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005, the customer has the right to exercise the Right of Withdrawal within 14 working days of receiving the purchased products. This right consists of the right to return the products received and obtain a refund of the price paid. Pursuant to the aforementioned Legislative Decree 206/2005, it is specified that the Right of Withdrawal is exclusively reserved for consumer customers, meaning only natural persons who purchase the products for personal use and act for purposes not related to their professional activity, or who do not indicate a VAT number when ordering. To exercise the Right of Withdrawal, the Customer must send an email within 3 days of receiving the goods to the following address:

The customer must promptly ship the goods to GB CASOLARO OTTICA SRLS – Via E. Fieramosca, 25 – 81043 Capua (CE) – Italy.

Shipping costs and responsibility for the goods during shipment, as required by art. 67 c.3 Legislative Decree 206/2005, are the responsibility of the customer.

The Right of Withdrawal does not apply to any customizations made at the customer's request, such as those relating to prescription lenses and colored filters such as gradation, tint, thickness, various treatments and shaping of the lenses themselves, as well as any other modifications expressly requested by the customer on any part of the ordered item.

The right of withdrawal is forfeited if the products are returned damaged (for reasons other than transportation) or incomplete, or missing parts, accessories, or components. Refunds will be issued within 10 days of receipt of the goods, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
