we inform you that the general sales conditions set out below, indicate, in compliance with the regulations to protect consumers, the conditions and how to purchase online on the website of the products his interest in a secure, easy and convenient. So that we invite you to read and accept them in order to purchase.

These general conditions of sale govern the sale of products marketed by F. Casolaro ottica S.R.L., via the internet, to consumers users site.

These general conditions shall take effect on the date of acceptance of the same by the customer on the site, which is in effect as acceptance pursuant to art. 1341 of the Civil Code. The company reserves the right to modify at any time the present general conditions of sale reporting them on the site. It is excluded any contractual or extra-contractual liability against the company for direct or indirect damage to persons and / or property caused by the rejection, even partial, of an order.


The purchase of products is through access to the site and logged. For each product is available on site a description of the main features of the same. All support information for purchase are intended as mere material for general information. It is understood that the picture accompanying the description of the product may not be fully representative of its features but differ in colour, size, and accessories in the picture. The correct order is confirmed by F. Casolaro ottica S.R.L. with an automatic response by e-mail, sent to the email address supplied by the customer at registration. This confirmation message will contain an "Order Number" to be used in the case of any communication with society. The message will include all data entered by the customer who agrees to verify the correctness and promptly communicates any corrections. In the case of non-acceptance, F. Casolaro ottica S.R.L. ensure timely notification to the customer. 

Please carefully read the description and condition of the item you are about to bid or purchase. We provide many pictures, so do have a good look at all of them. Any important or visible wear is well described in the condition details. We tend to take pictures of any visible wear. You are always welcome to ask ANY INFORMATION which you feel is necessary before your purchase, and we will be glad to help out. We do have a simple & clear REFUND POLICY, but it is better to avoid any misunderstanding upfront.
Of course, the older an item is, the more likely it will display indications of its age. Signs of wear should be expected. Although condition ranks as a main buying consideration for vintage ware, it’s not as crucial for older items. Don't buy something that you consider inferior to your expectations just because it has a well known brand name. Ask us to specify any damage or irregularities a garment which may not be specified on the item description, or just something you want to point out or fully understand. And don’t rely solely on a condition term if you are unsure of the quality of a ware.

The customizations requested by customers concerning sight lenses and colour filters as for instance shade, colour, thickness, various treatments, the shape of lenses beyond any other change explicitly required about each part of the product, must be necessarily confirmed in writing also through email. If the customer has a medical certificate, he will send this to the firm before the execution of the order. Furthermore, the firm is not responsible of possible mistakes given by the customer in the order of the customization.


All prices on the site shall be construed prices to the public and, therefore, include VAT for EU countries.

We are NOT liable for any custom duty or import cost charged by your local customs. 


  • Import duties and taxes and charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping charges.
  • These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
  • These charges are typically collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up.
  • Please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. 

Prices may change without prior notice and the only correct price is that indicated at the time of order confirmation. When paying with PayPal system at the conclusion of the online transaction service that will make you pay only the amount of your purchase. If paying by bank transfer, the purchase is concluded, the client will receive the email address indicated in the registration phase, and also a newly completed purchase summary email will receive, in the above e-mail, all details to make a bank transfer. If the order is deleted, either by the customer and in case of rejection of the same by F. Casolaro ottica S.R.L.., will be the cancellation of the same and release the amount involved (the release times depend exclusively on system banking). After the cancellation of the transaction, F. Casolaro ottica S.R.L. cannot be held liable for any damages, resulting from the release of the amount committed by the banking system.


All products sold by F. Casolaro S.R.L. are covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty and 24-month warranty for defects of conformity, according to DL 24/02 that protect only end users who buy purchases for non-business purposes, via receipt. To qualify for the guarantee, the customer must keep the invoice or sales document sent with the product. The 24-month warranty applies to products that present a lack of conformity, provided that the product is used correctly, respecting its intended use and as provided in the technical documentation. This guarantee is for the consumer. In case of lack of conformity, F. Casolaro ottica S.R.L. provides with no cost to the customer at the restoration of conformity by repair / replacement or possibly termination of the contract.


Pursuant to and within the limits of Art. 64 of Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206, the customer has the right, within 14 working days from receipt of the products purchased, to exercise the right of withdrawal. Such a law consisting of faculty to return the products received and get the money refunded. Also in accordance with the above mentioned Law 206/2005 it should be noted that the return right is reserved exclusively for consumer customers and that is only to individuals who purchase products for their own use and act for purposes not related to their professional activity, or does do not make the purchase indicating when ordering a VAT. The client has to do promptly the shipping at the address F. Casolaro ottica S.R.L. – Via Ettore Fieramosca 25 – 81043 Capua (CE) – Italy. 

The costs of transport and the goods’ responsibility during the shipping, as provided by the Art. 67 c.3 D.L. gs 206/2005 , are charged to the client.

The customizations requested personally by the clients are excluded from the right of withdrawal, for instance those concerning sight or coloured lenses such as the gradation, the colouring, the thickness, various treatments, the shape of lenses, beyond any other change explicitly required by the client about each part of the product.

The right of withdrawal falls completely in case that the products return damaged (for reasons not caused by the transport) or incomplete, with missing accessories, parts and members. The refund will happen within 10 days from the reception of goods with the same method of payment used for the purchase.
